Siri Gives Wrong Apple Maps Direction on iPhone / iPad

Last updated: December 25, 2014 at 21:34 pm

Say you are in a car, all ready to reach a new place, and fire up Apple Maps application on your iPhone.

Just stop.

Because you may likely end up going to the wrong place because of Apple’s Siri.

Apparently, the voice-recognition technology says “left” if the direction on the Apple map is right. And it says “right” if the direction is left.

Many users have reported this “error” occurs although rarely.

Solution? While you can keep an eye on the Apple Maps while driving (and ignore Siri), the only solution is to get a good GPS navigation system in your car. This season you will find many offers and good deals on GPS systems at Amazon.com.

You can also use Google Maps (rated 4.5/5). It’s been very reliable, popular, and even better than Apple maps when it comes to reaching your final destination.
